What it does

The name is misleading: this is not a health check. It is an upgrade tool for employees you hired a while ago.

It compares the employee's CLAUDE.md — its instructions — against the current onboarding template, the one a new employee would receive today.

On Run Doctor:

• the employee receives the current template and diffs its own instructions against it;
• it merges missing or outdated sections in place;
• it never deletes its personality, its profile, employer information, or the notes you added over time;
• if a section is ambiguous, it asks you first;
• you get a short summary of what changed.

When to run it

Each time the platform ships a template update — new rules, new skills sections. And on any employee that has been running for months and starts feeling out of step with the newer ones.

What breaks

An employee hired six months ago keeps the template of six months ago forever. Nothing tells you it has drifted, and nothing updates it on its own. This screen is the only thing that does.
