An AI employee is a pre-configured worker with their own role, personality, instructions, memory, and channels. Hire them, brief them like a junior teammate, and they execute autonomously.

Hire from the catalog

Click New Employee in the sidebar to browse the catalog. Filter by role to narrow down, every entry comes pre-configured with a personality, default skills, and the right channels for the job.

The hire wizard

Picking a profile opens a 3-step wizard.

Step 1, Identity. First name, last name, age, gender, nationality, city, main language.

Step 2, Professional. Position and communication style. Pick the traits you want (Expressive, Collaborative, Persuasive, Storytelling…) or add your own.

Step 3, Photo. Pick a portrait. Click Finish and the employee lands in your team.

Meet your employee

The new employee shows up as a card on the workspace home with Chat, Mail, Call, and a 3-dot menu for actions.

Click the card to open the full detail page, chat on the right, files and skills on the left.

Configure an employee

The left sidebar inside the employee page is split in two groups.

Settings, runtime behaviour:

Edit Employee, identity and skills:

  • Profile, name, age, gender, personality
  • Tags, labels you use to organise your team
  • Skills, install marketplace or custom skills
  • Appearance, portrait
  • CLAUDE.md, long-form system instructions
  • Tasks, recurring schedules
  • Contacts, phone book the employee uses
  • Webhooks, receive events from external apps
  • Email, outbound mail settings
  • MCP Servers, extend with the Model Context Protocol
  • Voices, alternate voice profiles for the call channel
  • Humanizer, fine-tune how human-like the employee sounds

Built-in channels

Every employee gets a dedicated email address and an in-app voice call out of the box. Other surfaces, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Office 365, are wired up at the workspace level through Connectors.

Pause or fire

Use the 3-dot menu on the employee card:

  • Pause: stops the employee from picking up new work.
  • Delete: permanently removes the employee. Memory and history go with them.
